Day 11 - Why do you worry?

I heard one pastor say, "It is easier to follow Jesus than to follow the world". What if we didnt have to worry about money or cancel culture or what the presidents were doing, but we stayed our faith on Jesus?

In Matthew 11:28-30 it states:

²⁸ “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. ²⁹ Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. ³⁰ For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

I wonder if is so much easier to follow Jesus than this world. Our own worries get in the way and we make it harder on ourselves. God's. grace is not only for our covering of our sins, but also for our empowerment to do so much more that what we could do within our own strength.

Thank you Father for sending your Son! I am so happy you are doing a "new" thing as Isaiah states:

Isaiah 43:19

19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
