Day 7 - She wrote her own miracle

I read in scripture of God parting waters for Moses and the Isrealites to walk through.  She did too.  I read scriptures of how David slain Goliath with a stone. She did too.  [I have to pause for a second - scientists still don’t know how this was possible according to the laws of physics - but God did it anyway].  In scripture we see a man come to life after being thrown on the bones of Elisha. She did too. 

She had a thought, “She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.” - Matthew 9:21. 

I don’t know even know where she made up that thought.  I don’t know where anything like this was physically in the old testament.   That just by touching His garment that she could be healed?  But she believed it. She believed in the One wearing the clothes.  She spoke her own miracle!! If she can do it, we can too!

I’ll tell you why this was important - Jesus was so impressed by her.  He called her, “daughter” as if she is His own offspring.  It is like her faith flowed from her father!  Isn’t that amazing?!  Jesus was so impressed with her faith.  

What if we live by this currency of faith.  Wouldn’t it be amazing for Jesus to be so impressed by the faith we amassed on earth?
