The Iconic Marina Bay

Yes, the Iconic Marina Bay. You may recognize the photo from every other postcard you see from Singapore. The top of the Marina Bay Sands hotel looks like a boat. One day I will actually go up there, but from a distance, it was still cool to marvel at. We took these photos from the Level 33 Rooftop Sky restaurant. A treat from one of our senior co-workers in the plant I am in. It was no big deal, we nearly pulled an all-nighter (well some of us actually did stay up most of the night) getting the orders out of the plant to keep the business moving. This rooftop treat was definitely not taken for granted.

And oh yea, underneath the Marina Bay Sands hotel is a high-end glamourous mall with a RIVER running through it...you know...no big deal...just an indoor river. Ladies and gentlemen, Welcome to Singapore.

Even though the country goes over the top, it just keeps reminding me of what is possible. This country does not settle for mediocre. I have to hand it to them, neither should we. Blessed God has allowed me (and You for taking this journey with me on this blog!) to marvel at the endless possibilities of our imagination.
