What?! Only 4,000 Steps?!

I look at my fitbit at 2pm in the afternoon and it says I only walked 4,000 steps? My goal 10,000 and it is past the midpoint of the day.
I half-angrily wonder, how can this be? I don't even have a car in this country. I just knew I was going to release so many pounds and gain muscle because of all the walking. Then it hit me - my team at my job offers me rides to lunch, back and forth to the multiple offices, they pick me up coffee and they even drove on their moped to get me lunch because it was raining and they didn't want me to get wet. Can you believe it? They are so nice and hospitable, I love them! And oh yea, I packed my lunch one day (maybe feeling a bit guilty for all the special treatment :) and I needed a microwave. They were actually willing to drive 1 kilometer down the road to use the microwave in the other office. Can you believe it???

Have you ever been angrily grateful? Angry because I didn't get my steps in and at the same time overwhelmingly grateful? I couldn't help but sit back in awe. I'm so used to handling things all on my own even in the midst of a large team. I was taken aback by this experience.
I run a mindset consulting business and I am in a network with consultants all over the world including Singapore! I met one my consultant friends who drove me around to the mall, Little India for lunch a to see the city! He met me as soon as I got out of quarantine. This helped me adapt so quickly in just one afternoon! It's the little things, it was so grateful to pick up things like laundry detergent. In quarantine, the laundry cost SG$10/item!

What are you grateful for? What small or big things do you notice throughout your day?
